GREEN ACRES POULTRY FARM

 Here at Green Acres Poultry Farm  we strive to breed some of the finest birds in the country by searching out and bringing together some of the best bloodlines I can find. 

Old chicken farmer told me once 'don't cost no more to feed a good chicken than it does a bad one' - 'obtain the best - cull heavily -  breed the best  - eat the rest.'  I have tried my best to follow his instructions - with everything i raise. 

There is not much more relaxing than sitting and watching the animals, each with their own personality.  The variety of poultry is fascinating. 

You will also find animals here that pull at your heart strings - a few rescued from bad situations  - a few boer / kiko goats / miniature horses and some miniature cattle are in the works.  All of this is on a tiny piece of land we all call home.  The feed store folks are some of our best friends - lol.

     Frizzled tolbunt polish

     Seramas

    Red jungle fowl

    Calico turkeys

    Bourbon red turkeys

    Eastern wild (farm raised) turkeys    

    Sebastopol geese

   East Indies Black Bantam ducks

   Peacocks / peafowl
